Trading fee & rebate calculator
| Exchange | Base fee/mo | Rebate back | Net fee/mo | Net fee/yr |

Assumes every trade fills at the chosen maker/taker split and the same rate across all volume (real fills vary; VIP tiers and regional promos change your personal rate). Native-token discount applied before the rebate. Rebate percentages are what cashback.trade pays at the time of writing and can change. This is an estimate to compare routes, not a quote.
How to read it
Two things this makes obvious that a fee table hides: (1) at VIP 0 the base fee gap between Bybit and Binance is trivial — Binance is only 0.005 percentage points cheaper on perpetual taker; (2) once a rebate is on, the rebate rate decides the winner, not the sticker fee. A higher base fee with a bigger rebate can beat a lower base fee with none. Change the taker share and watch the net flip.
The full dollar walk-through behind these numbers is in Bybit vs Binance fees, and where rebate money comes from is in how fee cashback actually works.
Source of the rates
Base fees are VIP 0 rates captured July 2026 and cross-checked against the exchanges' own schedules (Bybit Help Center, Binance fee pages): spot 0.100% maker/taker on both; perpetual maker 0.020% on both; perpetual taker Bybit 0.055%, Binance 0.050%. Native-token discount 25% spot / 10% futures. Rebate rates used: Bybit 52.5%, Binance 35%.
Disclosure: we operate the fee-cashback service at cashback.trade (52.5% Bybit, 35% Binance at time of writing) — a direct financial interest. Every base rate above is shown with its source; verify all of them, ours included, before acting.
